Island Auto Body opened its doors on February 19, 2014. Owner, Raymond Charles, had been learning about cars since he was a toddler, hanging out in his father’s body shop, Body Shop Bob’s, in Eaton Rapids. Ray continued to learn from his dad in his garage until 1988 when Bob opened Island Auto Body on Anna Maria Island in Florida. Ray spent 3 years working for and learning from his dad. Since then, Ray has had the opportunity to work at several different body shops, perfecting his skills. In the years since IAB opened, it has grown with additional services and staff.
