Star Auto Authority was founded in Glenview, Il. as C&M Auto Service in 1984. After 15 successful years, the company opened a second, much larger (24,000 sq. ft.) mechanical repair facility in 2001 in Vernon Hills, IL. In 2007, the partners separated C&M into two companies, and Mike Starovich took the reigns in Vernon Hills. In July 2008, C&M debuted as Star Auto Authority, Inc. In August 2011, we added our collision center business to our mechanical services offered, and the collision business has grown rapidly ever since. In 2016, 2000 square feet were added, and in 2017, a separate Star Auto Authority company was born--Star Auto Authority Collision, Inc.
